NEUROFIBROMATOSIS,

or NF for short, is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow throughout the body sometimes causing pain, dis- figurement, blindness and even death.

NF affects all races, all ethnic groups and both sexes equally. It is one of the most common genetic disorders in the U.S. affecting 1 in 3,000 people.

There is no known cure.
